I am an Associate Professor in Stanford University's Department of Political Science and (by courtesy) an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science.  In the 2017-2018 academic year I will be joining the University of Chicago's Department of Political Science.  My primary research interests include Congress, representation, bureaucracy and political methodology.
